Boots?

anyone where boxing boots to train in? not the greatest topic, but always comes up in our gym. i train in running shoes as i feel there better on my knees and ankles and give a better workout because they are heavier. anyone elses thoughts?

I spar in boots and train in puma shoes since they closely resemble a boxing shoe, especially the small, smooth soles. only thing is they're low cut. but I have strong ankles from playing hockey all my life.

If you want boxing shoes that are a little heavier with bigger soles, try the Jordan Brand boxer. Many of my gym friends say it gives them a slight boost in height and are as comfy as regular Jordan shoes that you would hoop in. I'm an Air Jordan fanatic but for boxing I use Everlast. It's crazy superstition and I don't want to jinx anyone, but I've many boxers who use the Jordan boxer and have bad luck. From RJJ to Robert "the ghost" Guerrero, many fighters have been upset in these kicks. I see most succesful fighters wearing the low top everlast or any Adidas Boxing shoe. Maybe PBF will change the Jordan luck, as he begins the new Jordan Boxer Line in mid '07. Pac's Nike line will come out the sme time.

i use boots i use to use just my trainers but iv been goin through a phase just recently of only wearin lacoste trainers and i was fucking them up at training at 80 - 100 pound a pair it wasnt worth it

Yeh i know bro.. Sent em an email the other day... Im not sure its down to title completely but something has gone tits up with shipping so im going to title first to see wasup. lol
