Default Seen Rocky Balboa yet? SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched it on pirate (special MGM copy which adverstises courtesy of MGM every now and then).

Anyway the copy was good and I enjoyed how Rocky has a proper ending to parts of the character.

The film is more storyline based with a fight at the end which is more like watching a friday fright night bout with Teddy Atlas. Teddy Atlas was not in the film I was giving an example.

Adrian is dead. Paulie loses his job. Rocky opens a restuarant and wants one last fight with the Heavyweight champ (Antonio Traver who is a light-heavy). Rocky loses a split decision, but the crowd love him. He goes back to his normal life I guess.

I rate it 9/10 for entertainment. 1/10 In terms of the focus on boxing. What does the forum here think?

it was a great movie..in line with Rocky I and II....I thought the story it told was moving...as for the boxing side it was 7/10 for me...I loved the training montage and the fight itself...9/10 for the story line...I would definitely rate this as a must see for any fight fan!!!!
It feels good to be back home.

I was disappointed with the ending. Clean enough to take the kids, and they all enjoyed it. Overall it was a good movie.

for Rocky fans its a must - playing heavily on the nostalgia factor

Was a bit ridiculous in the way he got a crack at the world champion straight away - should have had a warm up bout where he looked good to make it more credible. Also think there should have been a scene where he tracks Duke down to convince him to train him.

Best line "Let's build us some hurting bombs !"

Apart from that I think it was a great ending to the series - bring on Rambo IV

A funny ending would have been Rocky, after all the training and build-up, getting knocked out in the first round and the final shot is of Paulie looking at the camera and saying "what did you expect ? he is 60"
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate

Just put it in for him, but too late for you fella

Didn't think the film was particularly good myself - good nostalgic moments though.

    Ranking them as

    1 ROCKY IV
    2 ROCKY III
    3 ROCKY I
    4 ROCKY II
    5 ROCKY BALBOA
    6 ROCKY V

Going against the purists that like the first 2 films best
