Default Diego Corrales moving to 147,possible fight with Gatti?

What are you thoughts? Again, the source is boxingtalk.com, in the intervie with Gary Shaw. I'm glad to hear Corrales is going to 147,he would struggle to hard at 140. He also has a new trainer so hopefully,he'll improve his outside game, carry his power and carry on KTFO opponents!

Corrales-Gatti would obviously be a great fight, but I hope it doesn't happen. Gatti really needs to retire. He has absorbed enormous amounts of punishment and is on borrowed time. Gatti should either fight an easy fight and walk away with a win, or just retire now. Hopefully the latter.

I agree Pea, I've said it so many times, Gatti should sit back and enjoy life, safe in the knowledge he is one of the most exciting fighters ever to lace up a glove. Chico at 147 is exciting, like it was for Cotto, the ability to actually train for fighting rather than to beat the scales could give Diego a new lease of life. Either that, or we'll see him getting flattened.

    I don't really care for either fighter...for safety's sake...Gatti needs to avoid Corrales...or better yet...retire altogether!

A few years back Gatti might of had a chance in this.

Chico will knock him out and put him into retirement.

If Chico was seriously considering moving up to 147 to better his career then fighting Gatti is the wrong move.

Fighting Williams.... That that would be brilliant!!

corales v williams would be a good fight, maybe he would want a tune up fight at 147 first though...

How can anyone dislike Gatti. But I must agree and he should retire before his speech gets worse. The kid has taken one too many blows to the Kopf.

Completely agree, no disrespect to Gatti but he looks beat up all the time. His eyes swell up when the wind hits him. He had a really good career Boarwalk will always be his home and us the boxing fans will always be thankful for all of his fights. Hes our 'Guts & Glory Warrior' I mean from his fight against Richard Salazar, Tracy Patterson, Wilso Rodruguez, Calvin Groove. The unforgetable Ruelas TKO, Angel Manfredy, Ivan Robinson, The combo he put on Gamache, ODLH. One of the best Trilogies ever against Ward...... The sick ass hook he landed on Dorin...

Throught all those fights he lives on...... He should be proud... IMO

I don't want to see Arturo back in the ring and I would liked to have seen Chico at 140

I think Gatti -vs- Corrales would be a terrific fight.

Gatti needs fresh hands. if he fight with those pillow gloves he is fucked ! Gatti is a puncher, take that way from him and he is done.
