Can anyone name an exciting Ricky Hatton fight?

Just wandering, I've seen most of Ricky's fights but can honestly say I've never seen him in a barnburner or even a really exciting fight.

Am I wrong? Has he ever looked spectacular and I missed it or is he like Kasim Ouma in that his punch stats make him sound a whole lot more exciting to watch than he really is?

The Magee fight was pretty exciting and thought the Tysu (sp) was excellent.

Well every one of his 42 unbeaten fights I think were exciting - why else does he sell out 20,000 seats in MEN arena within 2 hours, 6 months before the fight when they were put on sale a day early? Get yourself a Ricky Hatton 5 CD set of his fights and ENJOY !!!!!

I even thought the Collazo fight was excitingwith Hatton being out powered late on and refusing to take a step backwards (unlike some others i could name ).
He could have quite easily had it on his toes for the last few rounds and cruised to a points win but he stood and fought till the final bell.
Can anyone honestly say that they weren't screaming at the tv in the 12th round?

almost every hatton fight is exciting. the vilches fight was a bit shite but that was many years ago and he more than redeemed himself with some good exciting fights with ray olivera and mauser. both exciting fights. put it this way ricky is still exciting even when he has a bad night.
the tszyu fight still gets me off my seat now if i watch it. he is a very exciting fighter overall.

Hatton seldom bores me. He is an exciting come forward fighter and you are never sure what you are gonna get these days, which keeps you on your toes some more!

Hatton V Thaxton was exciting if only for the reason that you thought one of them was gonna need a blood transfusion to keep em alive, it was like a blooodbath for the lonsdale belt. Can't comment on the Magee fight i was ringside but was suffering from blood posioning an couldn't keep my head up to watch the fight, felt like death warmed up, spent two weeek in hospital after and i still only seen highlights of it. One thing i have noticed is that Ricky is always open to a good right hook from a lefty.

If you're a fan of Hatton, his fights are exciting. But if you're not a fan, he sounds more exciting on paper than he actually is.
You know you're a Hatton fan when you say his last fights with Collazo and Urango were exciting.
I'm a Mayweather fan so I could watch him dance around a guy like baldomir all night and appreciate it.
I'm not a big Hatton fan so the punching and clinching of his latest fights bores the fugg out of me.
I've only seen about a dozen or so Hatton fights and I gotta say the KT fight was worth the download PPV buy. But the rest of them haven't been all that exciting (To a non-Ricky fan).
I'm not saying he's living his whole career off that one fight but it seems like if you throw him in against anyone with decent speed you know what's gonna hapen. It'll be a "win today, look good the next time" fight. He looks great beating on slower fighters. Not exactly exciting stuff to a non-Ricky fan. But then again, Floyd looks great beating on slower fighters too and I love every minute of it.
The only difference (well there are plenty of other differences but you know what I mean) is that Floyd makes everyone look slow.
