I'm pretty certain the great man Britkid scored it for Holyfield.
Don't ask me

Nah Britkid just said that he could se how somebody would've given Holyfield a draw, coz neither did enough to win the rounds
I have Holyfield 3 rounds![]()

Yes, it was a sign that Holyfield was running on fumes, and a lacklustre win for Lennox. No doubt he won most of the rounds, but it was hardly a great performance considering Holy appeared to have very little on that night, Lennox could have probably even stopped him imo.. but no doubt it was a major screw job.
I thought Evander won the fight by a few rounds. Lewis was a bit too cautious in that fight. Evander was taking the chances and driving the majority of the action . Hell I think this is the match ? I get first match and the rematch confused.. I had Evander winning one of them and Lewis winning the other !
2 nd one was close i had it 7 rounds to 5 for lewis 1st one was totally robbery lewis easily won and judges were absolute twitsOriginally Posted by Lords Gym
Compubox numbers:
Landed-Thrown-%
Lewis: 348 - 613 - 56%
Holyfield: 130 - 385 - 33%
It was a robbery. I had Lewis winning 10 rounds.

havent seen the first or second fight for a long time but i can remember thinkin that lewis did more than enough to earn a decision in the first fight. but i can also remember thinkin that it looked to me that the real deal maybe deserved to get at least a draw in the second fight.
what was the stats for the rematch ? you got that handy ?Originally Posted by SweetPea
No, I googled it but I could only find the stats for the first fight.Originally Posted by Lords Gym
I was just thinking.... How weird of a year was 1999 when it came to judges' scorecards??
DLH-Quartey
Lewis-Holyfield I
DLH-Trinidad
Vargas-Wright
Those were probably the 4 biggest fights of the year, and lots of people would argue that all 4 were bad decisions. Yikes.
Sometimes I see compubox numbers and just think WTF, now I'm not saying that Lewis shouldn't have gotten the first fight but I definitely don't remember him landing 348 punches. But then again according to Compubox didn't Gatti land like 48 punches against PBF, the numbers are always inflated.Originally Posted by SweetPea
