He is still getting an earful for taking crap fights at this point in time.. Its hard to make Cotto the underdog against anyone so of course people expect him to win. Even against Judah i think he will be a strong favorite, but hopefully after the Judah fight he will fight the likes of Mayweather or the winner of Williams-Margarito, or the winner of Hatton-Castillo

In 38 fights, Urkal has only been knocked out once. He is tough. Make no mistake about it.

Its always the champions who take the critiscism for an easy fight but maybe the blame should be pointed at the organisations who come up with these bullshit mandatory challengers, I mean surely the mandatory should be the second best guy in the division. But it just doesnt work that way as then all the belts would soon be unified and the different governing bodies just dont want that.

no that fight was a waste of time also. just like when gatti fought leija. before the gatti PBF fight. it's time for cotto fight somebody. he fought decent fighter on his way up. now it's time for him to move up to the next level. the judah fight is the next level.
