I don't have a problem with them taking their time with Amir. Its only in his last fight that he showed signs (albeit briefly) that he was starting to fight like a professional rather than an amateur.

You have to be 21 to fight for the British title.

And even if he could, fighting Thaxton at this stage is probably to soon. If he won you've almost certainly got a future, quality world champ on your hands.. but can they take that sort of risk?

Of course, they WONT take that risk in a million years.
