This depends on how many MMA fights you have seen. If this is the only one then yes!

diaz/Gomi was indeed great. I also really liked the Sanchez/Parysian fight. Lots of beautiful moves.
Agree with Gomi/Diaz and Karo/Deigo. Both were cracking fights - loved Karo's judo throw.
Other great fights
Caol Uno v Joachin Hansen - must see fight with great ending
Mirko Cro-Cop v Big Nog - Nog took such a beating but still pulled out the W
Quite a few fights from Bushido 9 The LW tournament
Carlos Newton v Sakuraba - Appeared to be a gentlemans agreement not to strike. End result was a grappling master piece
I've got just under 200Gb of MMA stuff on my hard drive. I'll see if I can upload some of the fights
Hansen v Uno ( 70 Mb ). One of the best fights of 2005

Why the heck did that guy start kneeing and stop punching
But um..Bob Sapp beat that guy via a armbar..
yes.. BOB SAPP beat him..via submission..and an armbar..
Probably one of Sapp's best performances..
But why does Frye get the credence for beating someone who was 0-3 going into that fight?![]()
Yeah its a good fightBut there's better
![]()
Cause Frye was leaving himself open by holding with one hand and punching with the other.Originally Posted by Majesty
He doesn't get credit for beating him, he gets credit for the style in which he beat him the way it happened. If he would have just beat him 1 round by submission it would have been like huh! he won.... But it's the manner in which the bout carried on that makes it a good victory nothing to do with records or names.Originally Posted by Majesty

Hmmm. I guess I'll be dismantled if I said Bonnar - Forrest right? Definitely the most exciting I've seen.
Well...all VERY exciting fights, but not necessarily the best. This fight was amazing to watch, just like Bonnar Griffin....very exciting and two guys just giving everything they had. But as far as two masterminds going at it, it holds nothing to the likes of Diaz Gomi or other fights of that like...both the former were a LOT of heart and balls, but not much skill.
Boxing is like a handjob, and MMA is like a hot sweaty orgy with 5 chicks. I could never say no to a handjob, but which would you rather have?
the second Dan Henderson and Nogs fight was pretty damn good

Saukuraba v. Royce Gracie. 90 minutes of madness with Rickson throwing in the towel at the end because Saku broke Royce's foot.
They're both ATG's for that performance, even if neither had set foot in a ring/cage before or since.
That was an epic battle. It's about time I watched that one again. Saku new he was not going to lose that. He just slowly broke Royce down.
