    Default King of The Cage

King of The Cage is a notch or two below the UFC, and usually serves as a scouting ground for the UFC to find future fighters. Still, the organization does put on entertaing fights, and you can buy like 100 fights on DVD's at Wal-Mart for like 12 bucks! Really, that sounds like a better deal than it is though, there's not that many recognizable names, or great fights. So really my question is, what are MMA fans thoughts on the King of The Cage organization and it's champions?

As long as you take it for what it is I enjoy it. You can't expect to see the type of skill sets or athleticism from guys that only do this part time.

It's like going to see a minor league baseball/hockey team play. Sure, they aren't as talented, but they're both equally less talented, so it makes for exciting fights regardless.

It's almost like watching UFC 10 or something again, right after they instituted the rules, but before everybody trained in all the arts.
Boxing is like a handjob, and MMA is like a hot sweaty orgy with 5 chicks. I could never say no to a handjob, but which would you rather have?

I guess. I've noticed that King of The Cage Champions do not make a big splash in Pride or the UFC, rarely do they have much success at all really, makes you wonder how minor league the out fit is. The fighters have guts and are skilled, no doubt, but I've also seen "old" UFC fighters, and ex-champions go into King of The Cage, and kick major ass.
