I am surprised I have not found any information on the internet about how boxing damages the jaw bone. This is my second year in boxing and my information from professional trainers and others is basically hearsay. What are the long term damages that boxing will do to your jaw? Do people have problems eating or talking? Everlast developed a mouthpiece that protects the upper and lower portion of the mouth. It will protect you by forcing you to keep your mouth closed.
Why do the MMA use a single upper mouthguard? Understand you can breath easier but isn't that dangerous?
Thanks,
Seabiscuit
