Warren hits America for Calzaghe talks
Frank Warren has flown to the United States for talks with TV moguls about Joe Calzaghe's next fight.
According to his website, the promoter is trying to secure a big-name opponent for Calzaghe's 21st defence of the WBO super-middleweight title.
The Welsh superstar's last fight against Peter Manfredo was screened live by HBO in the United States as well as ITV in this country.
And according to the Warren camp TV interest in Calzaghe on the other side of the pond is at an all-time high.
Roy Jones Jnr, Mikkel Kessler, Bernard Hopkins and Jermain Taylor have all been put forward as possible opponents for Calzaghe.
Amir Khan is also likely be a topic of conversation during Warren's talks with American judges highly impressed by recent displays from the former Olympic silver medallist.
