Default Oscar is being set up for a great fall

No one in his corner had the guts to tell him that he was out boxed last night. No one had the guts to tell him that Mayweather's accuracy per round was 50%. No one had the guts to tell him that Mayweather landed 50% of his power punches. No one had the guts to tell him that Mayweather was pot shotting him at will.

Now Oscar in his deluded mind actually thinks that because he was the "agressor" he deserved to win the fight irrespective of the punches he threw and landed vs punches Floyd threw and landed.

Mayweather Sr. who is still a part of Oscar's corner as a soup drinker didn't have the guts to speak it like it is. Mosely also didn't have the guts to speak it as it is and actually thinks that Oscar won, when in fact Mayweather beat Oscar more convincingly than Mosely beat him in both of his fights with Oscar.

Now if this is indicative of Oscar's corner he is in for a rude awakening. After the Sturm fight, people continually kissed his ass and never told him the real deal that he sucked at 160 and that he lost. But because of politics and the fear of Oscar's bratty attitude they allowed Oscar to make a mockery of the sport by fighting Bernard Hopkins whom he absolutely had no chance against. If Oscar couldn't beat Sturm how could he beat Hopkins. But leave it to HBO, Merchant and others to fan the flame of Delusion and having us think that Oscar today is the same Oscar of 1995-2000.

Now how did Oscar recover from his two miserable outings at 160? They make him fight Mayorga who already took the beating of his life from Trinidad. Now of course Oscar KOED Mayorga and we then got sold the bill of goods that Oscar is back and he is ready to take on a fighter of Mayweather's calibre when in fact he was not. Oscar was simply banking on his pass glory as a welterweight .

Now that Mayweather schooled Oscar instead of people being responsible and performing a comprehensive overview of Oscar's last fights to see that he doesn't have it (Sturm, Hopkins, Mayorga and Mayweather) and he is just not in the class of Mayweather, they have rationalized his obvious lost last night and are claiming that it was a close fight and that he should have won it.

With this attitude, Oscar is going to be deluded into taking on a fighter that he obviously cannot beat and he is going to get seriously hurt.

There was absolutely no reason that Oscar "wasn't ready" to fight someone of Floyds calibre... It was a good fight, Oscar made it pretty close and it was clear he was the much bigger and stronger guy especially in the early rounds.. Your basically trying to imply that people in Oscar's camp should have told him that because he could cut it at 160 and because Mayorga wasn't that good, he shouldn't have fought Mayweather and he had no chance to win... Aside from this being proven to have been completely FALSE last night, that's never the way a fighter's camp should talk to their guy..

Oscar has never been seriously hurt in his career and he's not about to be, you make some good points in the first part of your post, especially in regards to his corner not telling him much about how he was being outboxed towards the late rounds last night... But please, your sentiments about Oscar being hurt are WAY off... Floyd couldn't phase him at all, and that's probably the only real mega fight we may see DLH in again is a rematch with Mayweather... It's not as if he's about to move up to 160 and fight Taylor because his corner didn't tell him that he lost last night
