An amazing event and a great fight between two of the very best fighters of the last decade or so. A credit to the sport!
No problem with the decision, it was very close... I had Floyd winning, but I can honestly say I wouldn't have begrudged Oscar the decision victory either.

I blamed gatti for looking bad against mayweather for not mounting any kind of offence, but when i see oscar have the same trouble landing clean shots, i really see how elusive mayweather is. De la hoya faded and did not launch enough offence. he missed a lot. He looked like a c class fighter even though he is the elite.

If the rules of karma didn't tell me i wasn't allowed, I'd CC you cause it was a great night for boxing. It's gettign light here now, but I'm not sure how much I'll catch up on my sleep. Oscar was definitely head after eight of nine rounds, and it was the finish that swung it for PBF.

I had PBF 117-113, but the fight was a tactical bore in my opinion. When the story of the night is Floyd Sr., something is terribly out of kilter.

i had mayweather ahead 115-113. good fight

both fighters displayed aggression and defense. de la hoya defense was pretty impressive

mayweathers offense wasn't the best. the fight would have been more one sided if mayweather was more active

Yes, well done Floyd a very good performance IMO. It was a good fight. I had no expectations of a slug fest as would any sensible observer. I appreciate it for what it was. In intriguing tactical contest.

They each took a couple decent shots but i agree it was kind of a bore b/c neither was ever in any serious danger. Floyd fights how he knows he can win. he is pretty much unbeatable that way. But he is not going to make the fight and the style does not please many fans.

115-113 for PBF was the correct score for sure, Oscar faded again and lost the fight in the later rounds.
I had him losing 9 through 12, he did well early and backed Floyd up, most of Floyd's punches were blocked so don't believe the punch stats. Floyd just went into the all time great list with this win while a lot of people may re assess Oscar's legacy as far as super fight wins are concerned..he is 0-5 in super fights folks!

I had it 115-113 PBF he fought great and for the most part stayed off his bicyle so people cant complain that he ran. Oscar put on a show in the early and middle round with a couple nice fluries and Floyd was spectacular at the finish.
