Anyone play Castlevania Symphony of the night?

Was wondering if anyone plays this game for ps1 its coming out for xbox live as an aracade game soon for those that haven't played it when it first came out. I think the newest one (curse of darkness) is better but SOTN has some features that are worth replaying.

Yeah, I loved that game. I thought it was the best in the series and hadn't enjoyed one that much since Simon's Quest on NES. Castlevania III was very difficult for me and I was never able to beat it.

I also liked the one that was on the Gameboy Advantage but I forget what it was called. It was alot like Symphony.

You need the double jump stone and after you clear out the chapel and the underwater caverns head to the room with the giant clock wait for an even numbered minute and the left side will open (using the clock sub weapon will open the right side and gives you gear that gives you horrible stats but a huge luck boost) double jump up and head to the left keep heading left after you go thru the room with the skelerangs (theres a few secrets and a warp to the right). You'll end up in the colliseum. Go down and enter the first room on the right to save. If you like looking around for stuff go ahead if you're all business and just wanna beat the thing as quickly as possible heres direct directions to get it.

Head back up from the save room and head left. You'll see the mist item behind a mist grate (yeah that pissed me off too) head up go left thru the room with all the columns and drop down. You'll see a dark tunnel under a long rock ledge. Head thru the dark tunnel pick up the library card and go into the next room. Depending on your level this fight will probably be tough(that why i recommend getting the cape from the caverns). I'd recommend a long ranged sword with decent power (since it sounds like you're playing thru it the first time you cant get the ring that basically makes you an undefeatable killing machine). after you beat the bosses head right And the mist relic is there. I only need about 4 more items before i've gotten every one in the game (equipment and otherwise) so if you need help on something let me know.

i dont have an xbox360 i play the playstation version. I only got a ps2 right now but im gonna get a ps3 after awhile.

Thats about it the whole second castle thing. I assume you fought galamoth as well then?

I think curse of darkness is better than symphony of the night. The game is HUGE and actually still poses a challenge to you even when you are level 100
