Jet skis aren't to be messed around with. I was on a waverunner all day yesterday just in the lake, and one time I hit a boat wake and popped up and nearly came completely off the thing, the heart skipped a couple beats. RIP.Originally Posted by BIG H

I ate sh*t! once about 3 years ago at Lake Perris in a jet ski I was hurtin' the whole fwocken day onto the next. I caught a boat wake myself with the side not straight on and I I was going faster then the posted limit and I just flew off the ski like a rag doll that shit! hurt like a mutha....

The lake usually doesn't have much traffic (Clearlake) but I was coming around a bend and a boat was heading the otherway, I looked at the boat then hit the wake before I realized my stomach was eating the handlebars.
But yeah, once you go a little bit faster then a steady speed, you start to lose control.
It's such a tragic thing. I heard that he saved the life of the woman he was out with, and that he would have probably been OK if he wore a life jacket. Twenty-four years old. Shame.
