Benn 8.8 Or something to that effect
Hearns deserves to be way up on the list..Since we have to consider Tommy's power as a welter since the rest are original Middles..Ranging from light middle to super..

hill said that jones hits harder then hearns so i think he does not hit harder then jones. and there is noway he hits harder then jackson and gman

Hearns is a welterweight! ..he hardest hitting welterweight ever
Hill is a lightheavy/ cruiser..
Tommy fought hill up there.. P4P Hearns cracks hardest!..
Gman was powerful but also full of energy..He didnt have the same one punch power as hearns and julian jackson... Norris hits harder then Gman too imo
And jones was just crazy with his power..But also so gifted and unorthadox that the ko's came to him well since he used crazy angles and great combo's to ko his opponents.. But the power isnt the same p4p

this is not p4p this is whos the hardest hitter and how does rj compare to them.
Benn hit the hardest - his superb natural punching leverages were like nothing we've ever seen
Jones's power came mostly from strong tendons and range of motion in the shoulders, because he wouldn't plant his feet down too much or pivot his feet
Hearns and Jackson were one-punch KO artists - they took guys out with S.A.T (speed, accuracy, timing)
McClellan had the heaviest hands
RJJ is similar to SRR...they both had KO power in either hand...sure Hearns hit like a mack truck but that was mostly with his right hand....Jackson G-MAN and others were devastating but mostly against the lower class fighters...RJJ enjoyed beating a man so bad that he would hold off on the KO...that's what make him right below SRR...Originally Posted by artest2000

But it has to be considered p4p Because hearns isnt a middleweight hes a natural welter..Originally Posted by artest2000

Hearns hit harder at welterweight than Jones at middleweight probably. The comparison stuff is hard to judge but Hearns fought a boxing fight with Virgil. Actually against Virgil. Jones turned to puncher. But this is hard to rate who punches hardest at thier weights.. Jones was a 10 at middleweight/supermiddleweight. Hearns a 10 at welt. All were 10 and Jackson was probably a 10 plus.Originally Posted by artest2000
Hearns and McClellan are the two hardest punchers that ever lived. Roy had very good power but not anything like them.
Jackson hit hardest out of the ones you mentioned he used to ko guys without trying hardest p4p puncher ever ?? well i woudn't disagree.
Imo Jackson gets an 11 for his power.
Hearns is a 10
The rest probaly a 9.5.
But they had different ways to use their power
Hearns- max leverage with his tall and rangy body and arms
Jackson- one punch KO power in both hands, excellent timing
Jones- speed, speed and speed combined with more than mediocre power
G-Man- energetic and enthousiastic, a killer if he had you hurt
Benn- Power by phisical strenght and massive willpower
Tommy Hearns is my all time favorite fighter , but i think Julian Jackson had power oozing from every part of his body if the other hit u like a gunshot , Jackson shot u with a cannonball .Originally Posted by DarkDestroyer
I think RJJ hit hard - but alot of it was down to the fact he picke his punches right, made the guy go off balance and hit him, that mde his power imo seem more than it was.
I would say Benn was underrated at middleweight, he had ferocious power
