There is no possible way that Tiger is anything but number 1. I'm sorry but there isn't. Federer is probably number 2. Beltran is on that list yet I'm not sure why. Before the last 3 months of last season he was being called a bust. Vince Young and Michael Vick are obscenely high.

Now I'm thinking, is this the top 35 stars or just best athletes?

I actually like Vick. I think his shortcomings have been talked about entirely to much, so he doesn't crack the top passing numbers, he wasn't drafted as a passer. Don't really think he's a wasted talent, he hasn't had a complete team around him in a long time. I think he could really go far. Defenses constantly adjust to him, you saw Tampa Bay hold their ends back for a while against him and then at the beginning of last year he had that awesome option run play that he created working real good for them. I don't know, it's hard to rate him against expectations. He was expected to be an explosive player, and someone who will always make for a fun watch. I think he's got that.

But he's not the third best football player in the game. And Reggie isn't second.

As for Federer and Nadal, you're right. But 70 straight sets in a major without losing is RIDICULOUS.

If its gonna be athletes and a matter of how good you are at your sport and the people getting credit for bieng in crazy shape then Floyd should be higher..

I suppose he only gets around 20 because of how little boxing is taken notice of compared to the rest of the major sports

Honestly, I can see a basketball, baseball, soccer or football player being ranked higher than Mayweather.  They have to run around, jump, leap, dive, tackle, etc.

whats the premise for this....I mean is it just athleticism(speed, strength, agility, coordination, stamina, power etc) or is it dominance in their respective sport? If its dominance then its hard to compare guys like Tiger and Federer to athletes in team sports. Julius Peppers is one of the greatest athletes I've ever seen as far as size and attributes but he isn't in the breath as Tiger.
