Man, you are in for a treat on both accounts!
I wish I could feel that feeling again that I had after seeing Oldboy for the first time, haha. My jaw was on the floor for around 3 hours after!

Ong-Bak is awesome too, great fight scenes!
Wait 'till you see the street chase scene... breathtaking!

You should see Tony Jaa's latest movie too... depending on where you live, it will be called either The Protector, The Warrior King or Tom Yum Goong. Some of the fight scenes in that are just too amazing for words... particularly the stairway scene near the end which was shot in one continuous take without editing. Jaa was visibly shattered at the end of that scene, but talk about badass film making!

Yup, Oldboy is a very good movie!

It is actually part of a loose trilogy...I think it is the second one. I can't remember. I saw all of them...Oldboy is the most stylized and action-packed. Both of the others were good, but not in the same way Oldboy was. The others are less action, more realisitic, and more depressing.

Oldboy has some incredible fight scenes!

That whole movie is sheer entertainment, I love the bit near the end of the chase were Tony Jaa runs across all the guys shoulders when they back him into a corner.

Hehe, glad you liked it man... Tony Jaa always guarantees entertainment.
Have you set your eyes on Oldboy yet?
One of the greatest performances by a lead man that you will ever see. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Choi Min Sik is the best and most dedicated actor in the world today.
