Default One of the strangest fights i've seen in a while.

Troy Browning vs julio ceaser garcia on this past friday night fights....did they ever say what was wrong with this garcia kid ?? They pumped him up like he was the next great thing being 20 yrs old with 40 pro wins blah blah blah fighting what they made to seem some old man who's never been past 8 rounds and hasn't fought in 8 or 9 years etc.... It got so bad that teddy atlas and tessitore even started to apologize for garcia's performance...did they ever give a reason why he was such a no show ??

Easy,Browning had had a couple of tuneup fights,Garcia's mainly fought nothing but tomatos, and Browning has new trainers and managment since coming back.
An abslutely classic set up,good job by Lionheart for finding a fight to put their boys name back up there

This was just an odd fight period. In the beginning it looked like Garcia was purposely just trying to get some rounds in, but then around the 6th round or so I was waiting for him to turn it on. The last six rounds were the same as the first six. I noticed that the commentators made it a point to say that this fight was a no line fight. This tells me that it looks fishy and they were trying to nip that in the bud before the thoughts of a fixed fight came across. I was waiting to hear about some medical condition or something, but maybe he's just not that good or he threw the fight.

Garcia did not look right. It clearly looks like something was wrong with him.

Based on his previous fights I might actually believe him. He looked that bad. And against a 40 year old fighter. Some thing wasn't right.
