Sokoudjou confirmed that the UFC contacted Team Quest about the possibly of signing him. When asked if he found the offer to be insulting, he didn't address the question directly, but he did acknowledge that his understanding was that the UFC's proposal was lower than what he was making in Pride.

fuck that shit, theyre trying to not only buy away the big names but now the future stars, fuck the ufc, they have killed pride, months into the purchase and they are only now talking of running a priode show, zuffa is shit, its almost li8ke they cancelled the MW tournement cuz its better then UFC can offer, this shot reminds me of when mcmahon bought WCW, and rather then having big money fueds he opted to just have all the WCW guys lose to all the WWF guys to have a kayfabe show that his product was superior, sokoodjou is the man and he will be one of the names to keep pride alive for a few more shows

exactly, they could have done so much with the wcw/wwf angle, same with pride and ufc but they never seem to learn...
