Excellent read imo. Mosley is just wasting time waiting for Floyd, like Margarito did. For such a high profile, experienced guy, that's a silly mistake to make. He needs to stay active, keep fighting. These long delays coupled with his age are not going to help his cause and it's not as if he has been vocal at every oppertunity about fighting Floyd,I only remember once or twice after the Oscar fight,he mentioned it.

I'd like to see him fight the winner of the WW tournament.

Read an interview with Mosley recently saying he wants one more fight
then retire to concentrate on coaching his son into the olympics 2012
from what i read he does want Mayweather but would happily take Cotto
bth Top Rank and golden boy said they are willing to start talks

so we'll see what happens in nr future

Shane Mosley is a good guy and would give the hardest fight for Mayweather at this moment in time at welterweight. However by next year that will be Cotto, so time is not on his side. So his best bet is to fight the winner of Cotto/Margereto/Williams.

First of all, I believe Shane would beat Miguel, Kermit and Joshua easy so and since he knows Miguel is looking after the winner of Tony and Williams, Shane would be left with Kermit and the IBF Welter Championship - that fight would be a bizarre twist of plans towards a different direction of the one he took when he fought Louie Collazo for the WBC interim welterweight Title - Shane has to make an option to wait and fight Mayweather as a mandatory challenger or to go elsewhere... I personally feel Floyd wants Shane, Tony and Miguel to take as many risks between themselves and handpick guys like Ricky as they do so, why wouldn't it be smart for Shane to do the same and keep himself from fire line and vocal exercise? Anyway, beating Mayweather is the only prize people recognize nowadays so when it comes, it comes...

Mosley needs to wake up before he fades away into nothingness. Here we have one of the greatest fighters of this decade and what is he doing with all these big fights going around? Just sitting there watching. It's like he has already passed the baton and is content to just let the big fights pass him by.

If PBF don't want to fight you look for someone else. If all the other champs are busy than fight Clottey who has gotten some good publicity lately. Get your name on that newspapper. Get your face on that TV screen and call these guys out. Time is running out fast Shane. Hatton is going to get that fight that you wanted and all he did was do a little trash talking.

Mayweather has handpicked Hatton which is an easier option for him. This is not to say it will not be a hard fight for him but the others are legitamte welterweights. I was of the opinion that Mosley should just sit and wait for Mayweather but people are right he should fight the next best avaiable fighter just to stay in the picture. It is true it would look false for Mosley to trash talk it is not his style.

I am a massive Hatton fan but I too would prefer to see Mosely fight Mayweather & Hatton fight Cotto.
I think Mosely has the handspeed & skills to trouble Mayweather where as I think Mayweather would just run from Hatton. At least Cotto would stand toe to toe with Hatton and make it a war!!

I don't think Cotto will ever present the same problems to Floyd that Mosley's speed does.

nor do i, the best match-up right now is mosley, it just doesn't seem that mosley is all that terribly interested and content on letting pbf beat up on hatton first.

Boxerharvey shows how reason can overcome passion from the fan's POV, obviously Cotto vs Hatton and Mayweather vs Mosley are excellent match-ups. Cotto - Hatton would be an absolute give and take hard-core punch-fest ( not advisable for minors, under 18 year olds) while Mayweather - Mosley would be a lightning, blinding, firework job, the perfect storm - now, why doesn't these happen? Cause Cotto goes after Tony since Arum is behind both and still is a very good fight, and cause Mayweather goes after Hatton to avoid Shane. Don't worry about Shane, PBF fans, he has plenty of marketability and support system in GBP...

Well, the fucking bastard peeping tom should be arrested immediately. I have just gone around my entire house and checked, but he's not looking in here at the moment from outside.

You people in America should do the same RIGHT NOW, I saw him on TV last night so he might still be in the US somewhere.

These so-called 'celebrities' ...... they think they are above the laws of common decent people like us.

It's one rule for us, and one rule for multi-weight world champion boxers. I just don't know what the world is coming to!!

If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
