Default So Whats Next For Roy?

Alright so he didnt fight a worldbeater in Hanshaw, but a young Hungry fighter... Roy isint the virtuoso that he once was, but he is far from shot and faded in the traditional sense... I think he has earned an opportunity to step back into serious contention I think he can make a bona fied run at Hopkins seeing that scumbag cheats his azz off instead of fights these days Roy is a lot faster and can make B-Hop look limited like he did over a decade ago... Probably run full circle for the both of these guys

    ahahaa. Doughnuts.

If these old fossils are gonna continue to fight then I would think Roy-Hopkins is a natural.

Agreed!! I think that a Human Roy is more than capable of handling a Hopkins that compensates his age and erodeing skill with John Ruiz like prescion in the way he holds and hits and Butts and Elbows...

I WAS a big fan of Hopkins but he stepped way over the line against Winky, Wright IMO deserved a draw at best or maybe lost by a round due to fading the last few rounds. There was no way Hopkins won that much of a landslide desicion, obviously a screwjob spurred on by GBP and one of its main officers. So theoretically he just scraped by a fighter that was fighting 15 lbs over his weight and is not known for his KO power. Roy should pick him off with straight rights and make Hopkins be the agressor with Roy countering effectively and scoring the cleaner and telling Blows

Im not trying to be smart but what is the difference between British and English? I really dont know.

As far as Roy , Lennox was koed twice and by bums ,nobody said he was through and rightly so.

As Roy would say "YALL MUSTA FORGOT".. LOL

BTW I think Roy is the coolest fighter ever bar none.

prople from England are English... England, Wales, Scotland and N. Ireland make up the British isles, but are still individual countries. Geography lesson over...

As for Lennox being ko'd by two bums, you've gota say he revenged his losses in a big way

It's not the same Roy, He looks timid even in his wins,Also when his back is against the ropes he still mostly just covers up, I truly think if he steps up against the elite he will get knocked out again. One thing is for sure, He needs to stay away from Johnson.

RJJ beat a hungry young fighter in Henshaw easily. He should be given credit for doing so. I would not mind seeing a Hopkins fight,I'd like to see him avenge his loss to Tarver/Johnson? I really dont know,I would not be able to handle seeing a living legend getting beaten up again. Man I miss the old Roy.

CC brother, thanks ,am I the only one that didnt know that? LOL So if you are from England wouldnt you be considerd British since its part of the British isles? I also thought Walse was in England and not separate from it.

Oh and Lennox definatly avenged his losses easy ,even made one cry LOL. and to your point Roy did have one chance to avenge his loss to Tarver and he just didnt throw enough punches. Roy is just not active enough anymore. He must look at the tapes of his last few fights and know this and just cant do it.

I miss the old Roy too.
