The pro's is a totally different game. Once they get in that ring anything can happen!

-and Ashira beat undefeated Quentin Smith in the pro ranks. Smith defeated Lacy 2 out of 3 times in the Amateurs. The 3rd fight was very doubtful and Lacy got the decision and went to the OL - most observers scored also the 3rd fight for Smith.Originally Posted by Peter Plys 44
Lacy took a beating against Calzaghe, but it is nothing compared to the beating he took against Gaidarbek Gaidarbekov in the OL - he was of course stopped in the 3rd round. He looked like a fool.....again

I know it's not always the same but JT has been successesful since turning pro. he gets too little credit.
Kelly Pavlik has come a long way since then. He is more in tune with himself these days he knows what he can do and what he needs to do and how he needs to do it, he displayed this with Edison Miranda.Originally Posted by Drama

Yeah in the amateur's but I don't think Pavlik even hit puberty yet. There is a 3 to 3.5 year separation between the two.Plus head gear dose protect allot.

Taylor was 22 and Pavlik was 17.
