Lennox truly was a BAD AZZ M'OFO...

That 3 punch combo that finished Botha was devestating.....

You see how much more polished Lennox got as the fights went later into his career...From the wild KO swings in the Bruno fight to the pin point KO punch hhe developed his right into

People dog him because he was KO'd twice with 1 shot but He had a much better chin then he got credit for...I seen him take some solid shoths from big guys and not even stumble...

CC for the vid..I have a Regge version on my myspace page

He was more polished as he continued further into his career; that's why I like him so much. Kind of reminded me of a combo of the young/old Foreman. And he did have a great chin; he just took 2 massive shots from Rahman and Mental McCall that would have put anyone down, it happens.

When he got cocky he was beatable, but when he was mentally ready and trained hard, he could have beaten anyone.

Tell you one thing...and I wrote an article about it here once....We now appreciate how good he really was....A division is defined by it's champion....The better the champion the more legit the title he holds is....EG...(As much as I hate to admit this but)...Calzaghe made the SMW division what it is...for years it was dead as his name grew so did the division...the more wins he put under him the more the division garnered attention.....

Lennox though at times the rest of the division was weak was dominate as all hell...There was not question in anyones mind that he was a LEGIT champion...there was not...In any other era Lennox would not be champion....

Here's the Bob Marley Part 2 (originally 1 whole video but sitiyzal seems to have added more and put it into 2 parts )

Well..Much like nobody cares to admit..

Lennox is the testament to say that once you retire and once you are gone from the game and missed,
That is when your legacy starts to sink in..

Nobody felt this way about lennox when he first retired..bUT now that he is gone its plain to see how good he was and the level and number of competition he faced..

And it will be the same with the likes of the mayweathers, oscars, shane moselys, hopkins' when they have gone

    Great thread !!!

My favourite Lewis career moments were

    the holding and hitting Bruno
The Rahman win after being written off
The crowning nights vs Evander and Tyson

Nice vid...I still get fired up over what I thought were BS decisions against Mercer and Evander II, but the first knock down against Ruddock was priceless
