    Default Malignaggi Vs. Chavez jr

It could happen Dec 1 at 147. What do you guys think? Do you think its to soon for Jr? Will the added weight for Malignaggi slow him down enough to make things difficult for himself?

This is Paulie all day.....No KO of course but he boxes the hell out of JR....JR won't be able to do much IMO.......Paulie went 12 brutal rds with Cotto and came out beaten but standing with pride......

Jr is not half the fighter Cotto is

    I agree 100%.

I have to admit I thought JCC Jnr was just a media package until I saw him dismantle Ruben Galvan on the Mayweather Gatti undercard. he looked like a patient praying mantis as he picked apart a decent opponent who had never been stopped before (against some goodies). I do think he has a future although not at Daddy's level.

But Mag is a horrible opponent. I would steer any fighter clear of him and fair play to Cotto for taking him out when he could have faced an easier opponent.

Actually, I think it's about time he stepped up. Lets see what the kids got. Anybody see a replay of Joel Julio vs Carlos Quintana?

I think this fight would be kinda silly.....chavez jr beating malignaggi C'mon now, he wants to jump straight from the undercards to fighting a champion in the main event isn't there a step being overlooked here. He wouldn't beat gomez yet either. We saw this weekend what happens when fighters try and take this step, he better go talk to boom boom first.

Personally I'm not too big of Chavez Jr. I think Maglinaggi would give him a boxing lesson.

    Hmm that’s a first lol!

Me personally I would rather see Julio Cesar Chavez Jr win but on a no side note. I just think Paul will outbox him, I mean I would hope they would get into a slugfest but you know Paul would not like that. Paul would be smart to just clearly put on a boxing clinic and put this thing to sleep.

Really If I was JCC Jr., just like people have said before me on the page. I’d rather fight Alfonso Gomez right now lol!

I'm not a Paulie fan but he will box the hell out of Chavez Jr. It is too soon for him to fight a person of this caliber, but to hell with him, i'm sick of seeing him fighting guys that take these fights on 15 minutes notice.
