    Default Litzau v Lucero *SPOILER*

Jason Litzau has just knocked out perennial (i.e pucnnh drunk) challenger Lucero in 2 rounds, count em'..... 2. That tells me a lot about this kid. I know his defence is weak but that's some achievement. Even Pacman didn't dispose of him like garbage, but Litzau did. I think this kid is growing. He's certainly talented, and he knows how to fight, his defence is just leaky. I don't think he is a world beater, but he will beat some champions, he will lose to others. I think we're in for some excitement in years to come, thanks to this dude.

Lucero was always a fringe contender at best. And now he's shot. Litzau did what he had to do. But I don't think it proved much

I think Jason would have dropped Lucero with a jab.
I mean Lucero looked that bad....

It is a confidence booster for Jason so I guess we'll be seeing him soon.

    Litzau vs. Arthur
    Litzau vs. Jaca

    Would be interesting...

Wow, Litzau v Arthur, that is a proper scrap in the making. Personally I think Arthur would beat him just by outlasting him, but their styles are so similar, I think it would turn into an out and out slugfest. Anyone could egt knocked out in that fight. I think Jimrex Jaca would be well beaten by Litzau personally, he's so unschooled and raw, and with all the support and $ behind litzau, surely he has ironed out a few of his creases.

I like Litzau but I wish he'd shut up sometimes; and quit posing and blowing kisses to the camera; it's very He also better learn to keep that left hand up or he is going to be in some great k.o.'s, mostly his. It's going to take some of those for him to screw his head on better or he'll be a punchline to a bad joke in a couple of years. I don't know if his trainers tell him these things or he just doesn't listen. He's got some good talent, but he better get his defensive skills sharpened or he'll be in la-la land alot.

I went running tonight and came back and the damn fight was over. From the clips they were showin to hype the fight, I thought Lucero was gonna be this hard punching hard charging brawler who wouldn't be intimidated by Litzau at all. I heard he came out hard for the second round but got startched.

I'm anxious for Litzau to start stepping it up but after the couple of fights I've seen with his weak jaw, he may not be in the business for long. Tonight didn't prove much. I was hoping for much more of a test out of Lucero.

I'd say a match with him and Mike Anchondo or the guy who beat Anchondo would be good. Or just throw Litzau in there with Barrios and watch him get his skinny ass kicked, that'd be good.

pac took him out with one punch. lucero was out of there, I mean this guy got hit so bad his unconcious walking like a zombie, his body wanted to get the fwock away from pac

That one punch wasn't as bad as the beating ponce put on him though, a beating is always more dangerous then one punch k.o. I think ponce ended him for good even though lucero never was good, pac took his undefeated record ponce ended his professional record

every win is good but this isn't much of a boost to litzau.

I think aurthor and jaca would be a good match for litzau. those will boost him more then beating lucero.

If there was ever a fighter who was just simply overwelmed and really didn't want to fight in the first place it was lucero, during the first knockdown the guy damn near looked like he was running to hide behind the ref before he kneeled down. He was dancin around and moving and clowing a bit but all that ended as soon as litzau threw his first couple of punches....

If Litzau used his jab more he'd be a very good fighter. But Lucero looked poor.

...as of right now that just isn't his style, and i don't think it's gonna change anytime soon i thought after the KO he might become a little more fundamental, use his jab, keep his hands up, move his head etc....but he'll always be a careless bomber. He also looked really poor due to an opponet who really had better things to do once he got hit.

...Yep, Lucero was arrogant undefeated prospect at that time. Pac knocked his azz out with one punch.

Rey Bautista should learn from Litzau. Just freakin' bounce back damn it!

I remember before the Pac fight I read this bizarre article about Lucero hyping him up and talking about how he was beating up cows or drinking their blood or some shit-something like that- and because of that Pac should be wary of him

He looked shot and he's never taken punches that well. I don't know how much to read into it, I do think Litzau has power but he's got a lot of problems, mainly defense but also he could take punches better.

Litzau is exciting,no doubt about it but before he got KTFo,I saw alot of hype around him as being one of the next big stars. I don't see that. And I don't think this win means alot at all,I mean this is the Lucero who was beaten from pillar to post by Ponce and Pacman,no-one would be the same after getting beaten up by those murderous punchers.
