Default Less than 4000 tickets available for Hatton fans for Mayweather fight.

ELVIS PRESLEY nut Ricky Hatton is singing Fever Las Vegas because there is huge demand for his clash against Floyd Mayweather.

But Hatton fans could be Crying in the Chapel as SunSport can reveal they will get just 3,900 tickets.

Mayweather’s allocation is the same as Hatton’s — so many fans who have already booked flights have little chance of seeing it live.

Hatton and his camp have voiced their anger at receiving so few but the MGM Grand who are staging the welterweight clash on December 8 cannot budge.

MGM will sell some of the remaining tickets direct on September 17 but will keep back a substantial amount for distribution to their high-rolling gamblers.

What makes it worse is that there's likely to be empty seats that Hatton fans could be sat in. No way Mayweather sells 3,900.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

First off it's the Sun!!! Says it all really, secondly there will be plenty of oppurtunity to get tickets via American Channels MGM Ticket office and Ticketmaster.com, im not to worried just yet, i also feel it will be quite easy to get hold of one while out there.

Me either, i've always got tickets to any events I've wanted to go to. Even when WWE was massive and they came over to the U.K. I got myself a ticket and the next week on Raw they said that the tickets had sold out within the hour!! So what if Hatton's allocation is 3'900..i'm sure none of you would feel bad delving into Mayweather's allocation? lol
That still makes 8000 tickets available if Mayweather has the same amount.

Althugz mate, i think MGM Grand are trying to hold out for all the high rollers, but how many of them actully want to go and watch the fight? Now for the casual boxing fan which i guess will be the majority of these high rollers in Vegas, it will be:

    " Whose fighting "
" The black kid who beat Dela Hoya, against some pale guy from England"
" Tell them no thanks, im off to the Roulette table"

I still not convinced this is a huge huge fight Stateside, it's the Brits which are making this huge, fro me tickets will eb be easy to get hold of, especailly over in Vegas.

So how do I blag being a high roller? Maybe i'll send them an email saying i'm the Prince of *insert small country name here that the American receptionist has never heard of* and i'm looking to blow a shitload of money in their Casino.
I already tried emailing them saying that i'm staying over there during the dates and asked if they could reserve me tickets for the fight. The concierge said she couldn't

It's bullshit really why has no-one ever put fights on at big football stadiums ? You have the infastructure over there I don't get it they stick to the indoor 18,000 arena Hold this at the millenium or wembley and you'd get 35-40,000

If Calzaghe can sell 60,000 iam sure Hatton could sell 70,000-80,000 thousand at wembley.

Alot of boxing fans are gonna miss out on this one but golden boy promotions wont care the fight will be a sell out so they wont care if the brits are the majority in the crowd or just normal people who dont even care about boxing just going to the fight because there is one on at the same time they are in the MGM.
