Default HBO already working on Pavlik-Taylor 2?

It's on another site, dog house, say that there working on Pavlik-Taylor 2 for 2008 on HBO PPV.

Who knows if this is completely true but its logical, why would HBO not want a rematch, besides the fact that there's a rematch clause.

Also, not sure why this was thrown in but there talking about having Malignaggi on the undercard versus Bojado assuming Bojado beats Stevie Forbes. I don't even think he does that but that's besides the point I guess.

It needs to happen IMO before any talk of Pavlik fighting other fighters.

Well Pavlik knew what was in the contract when he signed it. I think the ball is in Taylor's corner and if wants the fight he'll get it.

I know a lot of you disagree and thats fair enough but I still need proof that Pavlik didn't just win this fight with one big right in the 7th. Also, the match was so good..so why the hell not do it again??
Read an interview where Taylor definitely does want him again.

According to Rafael, JT wants the fight immediately but his camp does not want it at all. I'm not sure why as JT fought very well, and I could definitely see him winning the rematch. I guess the thinking is that if he were to get knocked out a second time in a row, it could effectively end his career. On the other hand, he could move on to 168 and restablish himself there, then maybe a rematch happens in a couple of years. We'll see what happens.

That's great. We get to watch Taylor get knocked the phuk out twice in less than a year.

A rematch would be great but I don't think it would be as exiting as the first fight. Still good though.

The rematch will most likely be PPV - and it would be worth it. That was a great, competitive fight, with plenty of drama and entertainment value.

Just what boxing needs - more fights like this one.

Arum said on another site that it probably wouldn't be right away, that each guy would have a couple fights between, build it back up, have Jermain looking good. Who knows how much truth there is to anything Arum says, but combined with Taylor's people seemingly not wanting it right away and we might not get a rematch immediately.

I thought Taylor looked great. No need for tune ups.

I could live with that...would make the fight more anticipated if Taylor can continue the good work he started in this fight and take the scalp of a few good fighters.
Agree with ya Kel, Taylor did look great in this fight.

Yeah I would love to see Taylor get his ass knocked the F out twice. Taylor brought his absolute A game and he couldnt finish him and ended up being knocked out with his eyes open .

Are you trying to imply that it was luck ?? if you are then thats crap because it wasn't one right hand that started the trouble it was 2 and they were both perfectly set up.

I don't think taylor have the stamina to beat Pavlik. Only way I see JT winning is doing what he did in 2nd round and getting Pavlik out of there quick.
