Default How hurt was Manny in the 11th round

When MAB clocked him with that right hand to his jaw as the ref was splitting them up.

I don't know if Pac was overdoing it but he seemed to be wobbly and thats when the ref took a point from MAB. I was talking about this with a buddy of mine and he said as he remembered it, Manny looked hurt and that was MAB's chance to win it, all though in a very much unfair way.

    Was he really hurt?

Manny wasn't hurt at all imo. Look at this reaction,he got punches, waited a bit, then started reeling around the ring. Faked it imo, smart too,had he not done that, maybe MAB would have gotten away with his cheapshot.

That was the first impression I got, but I had my doubts so I wanted to get you guys take on it.

CC, you are right. MAB would've never been deducted a point had PACMAN not reacted like he did.

Basically, Manny was trying to get a point deduction to insure that he would win a decision against the suddenly "boxer" Barrera. It's like when Judah acted against Cotto those two times. Apparanetly, it works.

He also could have done that as his "bate" so to speak....
To make MAB come in for the finish.... THEN.....

SURPRISE!!! (I ain't hurt) And BAM! remember my left hand?

OMG mick that was exactly what I was thinking, right when pac was in the nuetral corner, if you notice he always touches the bottom ropes with his heels thats a sign of a prepared pacman not a hurt one. And I was screaming MAB DON'T FALL FOR IT, and good thing mab didn't.

I think it was either a bait, or pacman usingn the opportunity to deduct a point from mab cause that wasn't exactly the first time mab hits him illegally in that fight. i think it was in the tenth when mab clocks pac while in a mid hold in pacs rear head.

at first i thought he looked a little dazy but it was most likely a act to get a point deduction

by the way, I'm wondering what caused the cut in Barrera's upper right cheek. was it a legit cut or by a headbutt?

that sequence was funny. what we saw there gentleman was a preview of pac the actor. hahahaha. he act so good he could sell rubber to a monk. but if it wasnt for that, mab could have gotten away with that cheap shot. he also did that to lure barerra to attack but mab was too smart not to. otherwise it could have been lights out for him.

Manny wasn't hurt at all. If you watch the replay, his legs don't buckle at all when he gets hit.

We missed this action live in the UK as our poor channel lost connection which was highly infuriating at the time.

I thought Paq was hurt as he did not have to act and did not look like it was gamesmanship on his part. He also has been KO in the past and thought maybe he is a bit chinny which gives other fighters in the division some hope.
