    Default PACQUIAO FANS!!

It's real hard to not like Pac as a fighter (he's an all time great and a warrior, imo) but when you talk to his fans, they seem to think that he's above GOD.

It kinda makes me want Pac to lose (again ) just so the Pac fans will finally STFU.

Looks like I'm finally gonna get my wish though, because Pac has been ordered to fight Juan Manuel Marquez again, and I'm thinking that this is gonna be a huge win for JMM.

Marquez dominated the fight over the course of the last 11 rounds when they last fought, but he was beaten to a pulp in the first round......ONLY the first round.

JMM is gonna pick up where he left off and win this mega-fight by a UD.

this is also the fight I want to see the most becuase both guys have unfinish business.

before the pac mab rematch i thought jmm still had the best chance of beating pac, but now that pac has grown to a different boxer/brawler and has beaten mab in a more careful and technical thought out fight, in a more convincing fasion then jmm beat mab. I have to reserve giving jmm the best chance of beating pac after he face rocky juarez.

If Pac beats JMM convincingly, then there's no argument against his greatness.

I do agree that Manny fans do grate somewhat on one's nerves, but I'd never want a fighter to lose just because of his fans. I hope you're right with the last sentence,JMM deseves more credit as a fighter.

    Hi frozen,

You think so? Then good for you! However, if Pac beats JMM, anti-Pac fans could still say these things:

    1) It was just a lucky punch that KOed JMM. JMM was winning the majority of the rounds before that KO occurred.
    2) Pac beats another old Mexican fighter. He should fight younger fighters instead.
    3) It was just an off-night for JMM.
    4) If Pac wins by a decision, they would say he was a judge favorite (I have read this argument before in this forum)

    What do you think?

Here's what I think...first & foremost...if you put much stock in what frozensolid_702 says...it raises doubts about one thing & one thing only...the poster who puts much stock in what frozensolid_702 says...period!

    1) Being a Marquez fan I think that I can honestly say that I was sweating after the 1st round & all the way thru to the 12th round that what you refer to as "just a lucky punch" was going to land again. Marquez get's much respect from me for making it to the 12th round. Had he KOed JMM then I would have stated that Pac was the man...I generally refer to him as just that when discussion of 130lbs begins to generate...you'd be a moron not to. Whether JMM was winning the majority of rounds prior to getting stopped is a moot point...he got stopped...or might get stopped. It's a possibility.
    2) Pac beats another old Mexican fighter? I say Bullshit to that. The only person that I have heard say that is Juan Diaz & he's just trying to make dollars.
    3) It was just an off-night for JMM...depends on how he shows...but I doubt that he shows up half assed for the biggest fight of his career...yes I think it's bigger than MAB.
    4) If Pac wins by a decision...I can't see that...but I would have to see it...if he outboxed Marquez then he would have to be given his dues...but I can't see that materializing.

Most boxing fans do not share the ideals & opinions of frozensolid_702, nor are they nearly as arguementative on matters of this sort.

Baseless thread in my opinion & if it get's too inflamotry then it will simply be moved.

Same thing if Pac looses. Pac fans will not swallow his loss. In boxing and any sport its hard to make both sides happy.

    Very well stated.

That is the one thing that blows my mind with "Rabid Pacquiao" fans. Here's the way that I see it. I have favorite boxers & I am a boxing fan through & through. I have favorite boxers that I love to watch as opposed to just watching random fighters. I love Marquez, Hopkins, Cotto, Floyd, Wright, Pavlik, Sturm, & many others. It kills me when any of my favorites lose...I hate it...but that's boxing. Something that I eat, sleep, shit, breath, & think...but in the end...I am a fan of boxing first.

If Pac & Marquez rematch & Pac wins...then that is what is better for boxing. If Pac wins legit...whether it be by TKO or points...as long as it's a legit win...so be it. I wouldn't be thrilled to death about it...but I would conceded that is was the right decision.

Why can Pac fans not see that.

He's not perfect, he's not a god, & unless incest is a legal & blissful event in the Philippines he aint the brother of every Pac fan on the planet...no fighter is any of the three other than the obvious Bobby Pac. My issue is...why the combative, rabid, & blind support?

I love all of my favorite contenders & champions...but I don't act like a blind fool over the facts. I honestly don't get it. You can't even have a discussion here lately if it involves Pac unless ready to get down on your knees in all regards to the man. There are several Pac fans here that act with some common sense...but honestly...of late...those numbers are sparse.

Don't you understand that it takes to fighters to make a fight? Without an opponent that carries some weight...Pac wouldn't sell out arena's...whether or not you want to believe that is your choice...but that is a fact.

I'm actually wondering who are these rabid fans of Pacquaio? As far as I'm concerned, I'm the number one Pacfan here but I have never been rabid in this forum. I will attack Pacquaio if I know he is not doing what a fighter should do (e.g. training in the Philippines). I will attack Pacman if he continues with his vices and womanizing. Definitely, I will loathe him if he continues his political career in the Philippines while he is at his peak in boxing.

Now, all you rabid fans of Pacquaio.......I am calling on you.....

    Wacko,

I dunno who frozensolid is nor have I read his previous posts in this forum when I replied to this thread.
I am just a casual boxing fan and obviously a newbie in this forum. I saw the thread, then made a post. I didn't have time to do a background check on the thread starter.

Don't worry, I don't post much in this forum.

Your insights though, regarding JMM-Pac was cool.

yes, key pool. I have so many scars already in this forum defending pacquaio against some posters who can't say anything good about our man. Regarding El Gamo, don't worry. He hears reason. You can debate with him and not get some sore sad clicks.

Exactly. CC Bruce. I seldom hand out sad clicks. And if you make a valid point then I concede to that. I am boxing fan first and foremost. I respect Manny for all he does,I just can't stand blind nut hugger fans.
