    Default Utilising the Maize Bag

No, not the Maize ball for slipping etc, the large kinda angled bag. I read it can be used to develop lateral movement and obviously body shots such as uppercuts of which mine need work. I also read its meant to be hung so the base is hung at shoulder height? What drills should I incorporate with this.

    Many thanks.

Im not sold on them, I prefer the angled bag. On the big maze bags you can develope a lot of bad habits its all about levels and the punch vocabilary is limited.

What is a "maize bag"? Do we have different terminology?

Looks to be a waste of money to me,about the only use I can see for it is uppercuts, rather work a fighter on those on the mitts

The main one is it makes you work the same level all the time, because theres only 6 inch of height you can use realisticly. The wide bag that tapers down is a better tool dont know the name of it but its much better. Another thing how many times do you fight someone shaped like a Pear unless its me.

In N. America it is just a little bean bag that you swing and bob around it as it comes at you form back and front.
