Default Floyd Mayweather Ricky Hatton Stream

OK, the time is getting closer when these two go head to head, It feels like yesterday when we were all predicting, what if's etc. No more what if's these guys are going to fight in 3 weeks time.

I would like everyone to take the time to cast their vote and the reasons for their prediction.

Here goes, I will cast the first vote, Hatton on Points. I may get this completley wrong but IF and a BIG IF, if Hatton is allowed to fight his fight, and I don't mean by Mayweather, but the ref then I believe he has a very good chance.

I honestly believe Hatton has the desire, the hunger and the style to beat Mayweather, I can't see him ever stopping Floyd, but I can see him being non-stop in Mayweathers face, chest, body then back upstairs a couple of low blows and really rough Mayweather up.

You have to look into Hatton's eyes and I believe he will do it.

I look back at the first Mayweather v Castillio fight and that was close, very close, as a neutral I could see how Castillio won that fight, I believe Hatton will bring more to the table or ring to beat Mayweather.

It should be a good fight.

No way is Hatton getting stopped.

Have you seen this burning desire that he has at the momment. you can just see the speed and power combined with this motivation to shut floyds mouth and beat him. I know its going to be rickys hardest fight ever, but i believe in ways its floyds hardest one too.

Ricky has got to make sure he can force floyd into making bad mistakes, and i know this is going to be hard, but with a force like ricky hatton coming at you none stop, the gaps will open and ricky can start to work there. the bodywork of ricky will be a good factor in the fight for him, although you all think ricky is no where near as fast as mayweather and this could be true, ricky isnt slow on those feet and he can get in and out pretty fast. He can use this to a good advantage and i believe he is a lot more nimble than Baldomir. So by using this pressure getting in and out, i can actually see Rickys stamina being at his best for this one too. If he can drive floyd back all the time and not let him get into a decent rhythm, he will definatly shake him up early.

I know for a fact floyd isnt going to knock him out, rickys chin is too good for that. His motivation will see him through this one alone, its too high profiled for him to get stopped, this is the big one for him. In 43 fights, hes been down once from a shot which he was off balance, i cant see it happening again though.

I just believe there is something about this fight, floyd is greatly underestimating him, and i dont feel he is taking it too seriously. I couldnt see Ricky doing that dancing thing in the build up to the fight, and i think this shows that floyd doesnt actually care or he isnt taking him seriously at all. This could be the downfall for floyd, because if ricky was so bad, why is he 43-0 ? I know why he is, because hes an elite 2-weight world champion and he shouldnt be underesimated in the slightest.

Im thinking with the factors in Hattons court, hes got a bloody good chance. It will be a very hard fight for him but i hope he can do it.

Floyd will win this decisively. I know Rick is a good boxer and has good footwork and quick hands, but Floyd is better in all those departments. Hatton has heart, but so does Floyd or he wouldn't have moved up so many weight classes.
Floyd will let Rick get him to the ropes and open up uppercuts and body shots to Ricky. Rick leaves himself open right up the middle when he is trying to move opponents arms around to sink that hook to the body. No way Floyd lets Ricky get away with that without shooting up the middle and making Ricky tie up. Quick footwork will only get Hatton to punishment faster. Maybe Floyd will have too much respect for Hatton's body attack and make Ricky chase him all night; Floyd will just pot shot him all night. Ricky hasn't been cut for a while, but he hasn't fought Floyd yet either, and unless Ricky can do to Floyd what he did to Castillo, his face will be ruined. He barely squeaked by Collazo, and we all know Collazo ain't no Floyd. Floyd will win by UD at the least, though I think he'll stop Hatton, or the ref will have to stop it because his face will be a mess. Likely Floyd will tap that body alot to, so don't be surprised to see Hatton go to the canvas a couple of times. Everyone talks about how tireless Rick is and what good shape he comes in. Newsflash: Floyd trains harder than anyone, and is a superb athlete, and while Rick is chasing Foyd all night, getting more tired the longer it goes, Floyd will hardly be breathing hard and picking every shot without wasting anything. Rick should have stayed at 140. I'm rooting for Hatton, but I just don't see it. Hopefully he just makes it to the last round. Of course, I thought without a doubt Mosley would stop Cotto, so don't put much stock in what I say

everyone always uses the Castillo fight as the key fight for beating Mayweather but when they had a rematch and Mayweather came prepared he then went on to beat Castillo by many points.

im still taking Hatton to win though.

My mind is saying mayweather on points (thats the only way hes going to win) and my heart says ricky will land a devestating body blow and tear him up with extreme pressure. I went with my heart in the vote because ive seen ricky in training, hes one pound over the welterweight limit as of yesterday and he looks like a human wrecking machine.

Cant see anything other then a Mayweather decision. As soon as i think of Hattons body punches and swarming ability, Mayweather's speed, defence and classy punching just always seems to over shadow that! I do think Hatton could win this fight but dont think he will.

People bring up the Castillo fight when bashing Mayweather like I'll bring up the Corley fight to bash Cotto.

They've both improved since then. If they stayed the same they would have lost by now right?

I would say the most likely outcome is Mayweather by decision although I agree with those that say there is no way that he will KO Ricky. He couldn't KO Judah or Baldomir, yet he's going to KO Hatton? Of course anything can happen, but I doubt it.

Mayweather on points. 117-111. Hatton wins some early rounds but PBF takes control in the second half of the fight.

Mayweather by a wide but hard fought UD. DLH fight proved nothing with regards to how Floyd will handle pressure as Floyd was well aware DLH would fade down the stretch so he allowed DLH to come to him and ware himself down a bit. In this fight i expect Floyd to mix his style up between round by taking the first few on the back foot picking his spots and figuring Hatton out a bit then by about RD 5 to step it up a bit and become more aggressive with Hatton then reverting back to a more technical style down the streach. Hatton is gonna need to wait for Floyd to grow in confidence so he opens up a bit then try n work his body and try n catch him with some big shots.
