I think he can if he plays his cards right. He should only bulk up to no more than 215lbs to maintain his speed and reflexes. He needs that speed edge to avoid shots that would knock him out. It will also help him land his shots and I think he does have enough power to knock out heavy's also.

If he bulks up to 230+ like he plans, he will be slower and get his head knocked off.

I think 224lbs (16 stone) would be a great weight but he is 6ft 3 inch

He can definitely win a belt. Even though he had a crap chin and was a blown-up cruiser, Herbie Hide did it in an era when there was actually some talent in the division, so Haye can do it.

He's got a realistic chance of being the top heavyweight too.

I'd give Haye a good shot. I think should stay at cruiser for a few more fights though. Guys like Cunningham/ Huck winner, Maccarinelli & Bell (if he ever gets back in the ring) deserve a shot at Hayes championship. Haye should try to clean out the division. But you gotta got where the money is... & thats above 200 pounds!

I think Haye can beat Oleg Maskaev and Ruslan Chagaev. But I think Samuel Peter knocks him out. And Wladimir Klitschko destroys him

God damn you VD...if i'd have got to this thread then you'd have been copying me, but as it is I must agree with your conclusions. Basic fact is that Maskaev and Chagaev are not great champions, not by a long shot, and are totally beatable. They don't hold great power, and won their belts by outworking guys who were not famed for workrate, so I believe Haye could beat these two fairly easily, with his workrate over 8 or 9 rounds, and holding the power to be a threat even into the championship rounds.

As for Peter, we know he packs a punch and we know Haye can leave his chin open, and Klitschko is the major force in the division, and is out of Haye' league for now.

Lets not forget Haye can bang if he caught Wlad flush he would go similar to the way he did against Sanders.

Not saying Haye can beat them but both Wlad & Peter have shown weaknesses in the chin. With Hayes power & work rate theres always a possibility of catching them!

That was a great performance from Haye against Mormeck. How do you guys think he does against Cunningham or Bell?

No he can't if Wlad gets all the belts which he is on his way too doing.
