For is Pacquaio vs Guzman
I feel Guzman is slick, skilled, fast hands, and all that, but he does not have fast feet. The one thing that gave Toney the most trouble against Roy JOnes Jr was his lateral movement and his ability to move laterally and throw punches at the same time. Right now in boxing nobody can do that better than PAcquaio(though Hatton is quite good at it as well). Another thing I've noticed is Guzman is a little a bit of show off in the ring and he will leave his hands down a lot, and often in the wrong times. Soto was way too slow for Guzman, and I felt Soto would be way too slow for Pacquaio as well, but Pacquaio would have hit Guzman in a lot of instances where Soto didn't. Another key factor is that Floyd Mayweather Sr's style has never gone well against southpaws. That shoulder roll is more geared towards fighting another orthodox fighter and does not work effectively against the opposite setup. For these reasons I can't see Guzman beating Pacquaio not to mention Manny's power and determination should things get dicy.

For Mayweather vs Cotto
I know I should wait for Mayweather-Hatton to be over, but I am confident Mayweather will win. Now Cotto is a great fighter looks a lot like JCC in coming forward, and though he doesn't have Julio's chin he is quite a bit faster than Chavez and he has better timing. However when Mosley moved against Cotto, Miguel had quite a bit of trouble cutting him off and landing the punches he did earlier in the fight. Mayweather has better defensive footwork than anyone out there, Baldomir was able to pressure Judah, but when he got in there with Mayweather he was totally lost. I think Cotto will manage better than Baldomir, but he will still not be able to keep up Mayweather. ANother thing is everyone thought Oscar was really effective with his jab, but in reality he landed on average less than 4 jabs a round. It did set up Mayweather on the ropes, but then Oscar wouldn't land anything. Now Cotto doesn't have the footspeed or handspeed that Oscar possesses, and he is a lot more open to that looping right hand that Floyd throws so well. I don't think Floyd can ko Cotto necessarily, but he will after countering Cotto enough times earn his respect and slow Cotto down like he did Baldomir(who is a tank), like he did Oscar Dela Hoya, like he did almost every fighter he's foughten except Castillo.

Also Wladimir will Ibrigamov or whatever his name is simply because he uses his hieght so well, he has the quick powerful right hand and that controlling jab that can negate speed.
