Default how does baldomir resemble hatton?

on 24/7 mayweather's camp hired baldomir to spar with mayweather and resemble hatton

even though flloyd kicked his butt when they fought.

I was surprised at the choice. What happened to N'Dou? Baldomir plods along as slowly as a mule in a field

Why would you say. Old Iron head Baldo could get hit by Klitschko and wouldnt go down, and despite eating a buffet of punches everyfight he never EVER takes a backward step.

So obviously Baldo is slower than mollasses and couldn't get out of the way of a Pavement roller, the guy is 1 determined SOB. and can emulate Ricky's pitbull style

I mean you will never get a guy in there sparring 1000000% like your opponent, so you may pick a fighter and work on 1 thing. I mean everyone made fun of Mayweather for running the whole time cause they doubted he could take Baldomir's power, and that Baldo had a punchers chance. I venture to say Mayweather stood his ground with Baldo and stood toe to toe in sparring, just to see if he could war with a guy that big

    Its a false economy.

    Ricky has head movement.

Read my post Ice, I normally would agree with you cause of the style of Chavez, but I feel that Chavez is to small and nowhere as strong as Hatton will be. Baldo is slow but a undeterred and a mountain of a man for 147

I hear what your saying, but we have no idea what arrtibute they are preparing for. There will be other partners to emulate other things about Hatton. So you dont agree that Mayweather is digging in with Baldo to see if he can put a dent in him toe to toe. I mean as dumb and slow and plodding he looks, he is as durable and sturdy as you will find unless you go hunting for middleweights or supermiddles

You could do worse for sparring partners but but even though there both pressure fighters they're not at all similar to me.

Hatton's so much quicker in hand and foot speed, gets in and out much quicker, just a much different type of pressure fighter. Does more work at close range

Honestly, I'm not trying to shit on Baldomir but I still to this day don't know how he beat Zab. And I don't even think Zab's all that great, he's always been overrated to me. Baldomir's just such a plodder. Tough guy though no doubt and strong but so slow.

Maybe your right but i still feel that the style that Chavez fights like would be perfect to prepare Mayweather for Hatton.

    CC in 24

Reminds me of that scene from Austin Powers when the guy is screaming and standing there and the roller is like 1/2 the room away still and gets runover anyway

Well with Mayweather's brittle hand{s}, he sure picked a steel head to spar with. I don't know how tough Hatton is, but I doubt he could take the abuse Baldomir has. They should have just brought Feliciano in for a head denting contest, lol. That's the next fight I want to see. Baldomir/Feliciano, lmao.

Exactly! again we dont know what the purpose of bringing him in is. But again the knock on Mayweather has been he is an alleged runner but I'm sure he is trying to see if he can dent a guy like Baldo who is as big of a Welter that there is, he is undeterred and has a head made out of steel with laser like determination.

I was just reading this phone call thing with Roger Mayweather, and he said that N'dou is being used to emulate Hatton, and that Baldomir is there to be the resilient s.o.b. who will wear you out. Baldomir is there to simply put pressure on Mayweather, and keep it there. Is there anyone at welterweight ever who could stop Baldomir with 16oz gloves and headgear? He seems like the perfect guy to use in terms of pure pressure, and use N'dou for the angles and a little more speed. I'll try to find the conversation.
