Default Oscar's finally found out how to beat Floyd...intelligent/educated pressure. LOL

Choice quotes that I found to be quite amusing…

Oscar De La Hoya : “What I see with Hatton is that he has both speed and power. The difference with Hatton is that he brings intelligent pressure and that’s the key word. He not only comes forward and puts pressure on you, he does it in an intelligent way and that will play a part in the fight”

Ricky Hatton : “I have no doubt that at times he might lead me in a merry dance and pick me off with his wonderful boxing ability,” said Hatton. “But can he do that for twelve rounds? Has he got the firepower to deal with my educated pressure? That’s the key.”

So…basically Oscar has come up with & convinced Hatton that he can beat Floyd by using…“intelligent & educated pressure”?

    Hilarious.

    STFU!

Just push Floyd around the ring all night as hard as you can & you might get a win. A prime young Castillo tried & failed…but it may work with Hatton…just don’t call that S*** intelligent pressure…it makes you look stupid, Oscar.

We all get that your’e bitter about losing.

You would think that oscar learned what a lot of opponets have....that having a good game plan and all that is fine outside the ring, but once you actually are in there with floyd it's a whole different thing.

Oscars biggest problem in that fight was he didn't have trainer who lit a fire under his arse

That coupled with the fact that Oscar's better days are behind him, the fact that he don't really have to fight for his beans anymore, & the fact that he was matched against the best P4P fighter of his time...

    You get what I mean.

I do feel ya on the trainer thing though. That just seemed like an odd match.

The funny thing is that Oscar used as intelligent of pressure as I've seen used. He was patient, and he kept his hands up so Mayweather could pot shot him effectively with his hardest punches, and Oscar was holding his punches or using his jab to get Mayweather on the rope and then he threw awkward combinations that were always thrown with a different tempo. Hatton tends to come in at the same speed and he will be easy to read as the fight goes on, also there is a the little space where he can be countered when he opens up, and Mayweather is fast enough to find it because Collazo also found it, and Collazo doesn't fight at the elite speedsters'(Judah, Mayweather, Mosley) pace though he has the potential for it.
