What MMA fighter makes over 200+million in their careers? or 1.5million a fight?...Why is that? because the fanbase allows the salery to be so high....

He talks about boxing being one form of MMA and how in a real fight alot of boxing tactics would not work. Boxers are so heavy strikers that in street fights 3 or 4 punches from someone like Sam Peter may take someones life or at least do heavy damage, I believe boxing has the better athletes at this point in time, but you never know 10 years from now the roles can be reversed

I seem to be one of the few who finds Joe Rogan hilarious. I've seen this interview many times and in my opinion it's Dibella who comes off like a roach describing MMA as human cockfighting and thn trying to pursuade us that boxing is a sweet science that an MMA fan would not understand.

Both sports are highly skilled with a far greater potential skill set required in MMA.

To see boxing as a sweet science but MMA as cockfighting is insulting to MMA practicioners and a hypocritical thing to say in any case.

When most medical associations are fighting to get boxing banned as THEY think IT is human cockfighting Dibella's comments sound like a prostitute calling a stripper a whore.

I guess but they are generally not anchor commentators though.

As far as the anchormen go in boxing and MMA , Lampley, Kellerman, Merchant, Sheridan, Mike Greenberg, Renallo etc he is the most intimately aware of the sport in which he commentates.

You can't watch a UFC event and deny the guy knows what he's talking about, he can usually predict what's going to happen next, especially when they get on the ground. He makes the groundgame very understandable for the average fan imo, he's basically like Teddy Atlas without the analogies and reconstructed face.
