    Default Anthony Mundine back ...

He fought and won last night with a 4th round KO. Im glad to see him back and fighting again and i hope he gets in with the top men at 168. He does bring exciment and i hope he can get some hard fights at 168. He is more than capable than winning them, Froch-Mundine would be a goodie

Mundine is one of the most skilled fighters out there but in his absence,168 has been rocked with new arrivals like Pantera, fighters stepping up and lots of prospects and toughguys. It's in top 3 divisions imo,and he needs to step up his level of opposition now.

What the hell is Mundine playing at ?? i like Mundine i was impressed with him against Green, and Kessler, but he hasn't done a lot in a long time its about time he steps up and fights the big boys like Bika, Froch, Kessler, Inkin, Bute, Miranda.

He did impress against Soliman in a title-fight in March, and furthermore he has been plagued by injury the last few months as well. Not much worse than most fighters then.

Also, with the exception of Kessler, who have already beat Mundine, and perhaps Bute, then none of the others have showed that they can hang with the big boys like Mundine. He does after all hold a title as well - a 'regular' WBA title, I know, but we all expect Calzaghe to abandon his titles (eventually), and then Mundine will have a legit title. If I was Mundine, I might just wait until that day before actually stepping up in opposition.

Bika would be an obvious choice for opponent though, being based in Australia and all. Rematch with Kessler would be interesting as well, although Mundine undeservedly has the upper hand in those negotiations now, and perhaps would like to avoid him.

If I was Mundine, I would, as I said, wait out for a while, but chase WBA#3 Haussler as a, due to the very, very dubious ranking somewhat legit, stay-busy fight in the meantime. Would be an easy win. Or perhaps take a slightly more risky fight against Lacy, a guy who would imo simply be way too slow for Mundine.
