    Default WTF Danny Williams!?

He goes from a career nearly lowest weight to almost the highest in his career. He gets one of his best wins at 228 and then skyrockets to 270 his next fight. WTF? 42 f#cking pounds! Well good luck to him. He should beat this Platov guy but I really could care less. Danny is too inconsistant.

I'm guessing Danny didn't put maximum effort into getting ready for this one.

You really think so Bilbo? I know Platov is showing a high KO percentage, but going into his 28th fight the best he's fought is a very old Henry Akinwande about this time last year, so I really think that Williams has a chance. My worry is that he will go in with a loser's mindset as he did against Fraudley, and get beaten not because he can't win but because he's not prepared enough.

If you look at the numbers his record looks good, but if you look at who he has fought and beaten, Danny has been in with the much better fighters and beat the better fighters.

Judging by his weight for this fight he definitely hasn't prepared enough & that's why he'll lose IMO

Yup but if you look at maxboxings schedule, Platov was supposed to fight someone else.

I'm guessing that Danny took this as a last minute stand in, hence his extreme size..

He's not in shape for this one so most likely gets put on the canvas four or five times and stopped in five or six rounds.

But the only thing you can say for certain with Danny Williams is that you cannot say anything for certain.

Danny could have been so much better, not a world beater, but should have beaten most of the guys he's lost to. At the weight he's in, and if the other guy has half a brain cell, he'll get outboxed. He got outboxed by Skelton!!! in the second fight
and will again as long as the other guy isn't in a zimmer frame.

about a month ago danny said that he was in great shape, had kept training since his win over gammer and that he was a stone lighter now then in the gammer fight, he weighed 16'8 for gammer so that ment he'd be around 15 an ahalf now.............................. YET HE'S WEIGHED IN OVER 19? i like danny, have met the man, he's a real nice fella........... but why keep saying these things then sham yourself on the scales, he said similar things before the 2nd skelton fight and turned up 20'8 and couldn't move in the ring

i hope he wins but all these up and down with his weight can't be good to him

Williams is finished. He only beat Gammer last time because after a couple of rounds he realised Gammer was absolute pony and he (Williams) couldn't lose even if he tried.

Think they get pretty good money in Germany.

270? Danny will plod about for a few rounds till Platov comes out of his shell.
