Well before the fight i'll say RJJ was shot about 4 years ago.
RJJ has been gun shy for that long too.
Tito knows this, think he'd really want to even consider fighting a near top form RJJ after a 32 month layoff?

Roy has been shot since the 2nd Tarver fight! Tito has been shot since Hopkins! It's a showcase for two former great champions who in reality will have no real impact on the Super Middle or Light Heavy Division this year! If either one of these guys gets in the ring with Calzaghe or Kessler for that matter it will be murder! Can anyone see Roy or Tito beating Dawson? I'm just going to enjoy the fight and remember these two great fighters for what they were not what they have become.
No doubt the winner will get his chance against one of the above mentioned fighters

I agree...you will hear one of those if he is dropped...but the only thing you will hear from me is that he does indeed look drained. He looks horrible...& Tito don't look that much better...so this might be a fight on more even grounds than we had expected.

We shall see.

Some sense in here. CC.This fight has NO bearing on ANYTHING going on around 168-175 except maybe the winner gets a shot at someone else.It's a novelty fight at 170,the catchweight for the older/shot fighters(Vargas v Mayorga,B Hop v Winky and now this) Excellent posting my friend.

(and BTW,I LOVE both fighters but I am first and foremost,a BOXING fan,so,unfortunately,for myself and others,this fight is a novelty fight)
