Who is best now Kessler or Hopkins???

I was just thinking now Kessler gave Calzaghe a good fight and alot of trouble Calzaghe admitted after the fight in his interview that he was tired in the last few rounds.Now Hopkins has great fitness and strength ive thought at 43 is Hopkins over the hill but now im thinking if he is better than Kessler joe could be in trouble because if this fight ends up in vegas joe is'nt forced to get the nod off the judges.So is Hopkins better than Kessler

Kessler would outpoint Hopkins IMO remember the trouble Taylor gave Hopkins with his jab. And Kessler has a solid left jab and good boxing skills, Calzaghe beat Kessler by outworking and using his Southpaw jab to good effect. Those two things i just mentioned would not apply with Hopkins because he only throws about 15 punches a round and rarely uses the jab.

Kessler will comeback better than ever after the loss with JC, i don't think Calzaghe will fight him again although he should! Kessler would beat a mid forties Hopkins as will Calzaghe.

I don't see Calzaghe fading being a problem against Hopkins. His biggest problem will be trying to force the fight whilst Hopkins is trying to bore everyone to death

Why is it crazy to think the younger fresher Kessler can win ?? he certainly has the tools to beat Hopkins.

I too feel Kessler could win this fight. In recent fights (which haven't been all that numerous) Hopkins has seemed to age in front of our eyes.
At this advanced age he is relying on guile, expierience and in the case of the Wright fight questionable tactics in order to obtain victory.

In order to attempt to beat Kessler Hopkins would have to raise his work rate considerably. At this advanced stage of his career that would be betrimental and we would surely see him tire.
Hopkins, has been holding increasingly in recent times. Against the younger, fresher and in my opinion stronger Kessler, he would not enjoy the same advantage that he did over Wright. He would find himself bullied and in close with a fighter who can bully as much as Hopkins can.
Kessler would make active attempts to keep Hopkins on the outside, where he fires his most dangerous punches, he is possessed of good movement so it isn't unfair to say he could unload a lot of punches on Bernard.

I f the fight happened five years ago I'd say Hopkins, but today Kessler has the edge.

I hate to sound generic but if Taylor beat him.... I can definately see Kessler beating him.
I see Kessler as a bit of a tactician as well as a solid technician. Hopkins IMO is easier to define and read as afighter than Calzaghe, plus he dosent work nearly as hard or quite as fast.

I actually think Kessler would have it fairly easy.
