Just a quick shout out to anyone who thinks it's cool to drink raw eggs... I used to work in a laboratory that did food testing in Canada. I would recommend not eating raw eggs unless you'd like a bad case of salmonella. Regulations in Canada require refridgerated trucks for transportation, and even then we would get quite a few cases of Salmonella in stool samples, and from various people on a regular basis. This was resultant of undercooked, or raw eggs.
If you live in the States or elsewhere, where the regulations are even more lax (sometimes they're VERY lax in America), let me just direct you to
AdamGB's comment about having Whey Powder instead. Please, it's a much safer, and better bet.
-best.
p.s.
themusic, just a quick note, but because you used Wikipedia to discover a statistic of 1 in 30,000 eggs doesn't mean that the statistic is from simply raw egg drinking. That number doesn't account for the estimated 660,000 cases of Salmonella poisoning per annum, let alone the fact that approx 5% of that number results in hospitalization. Most cases covered involve handling processes that are thought to be safe.
