Well done man congrats....
All I could say is avoid nerves, kee[ hydrated, eat well, but not too soon before.
Get in there first round and jab a lot at various speeds and strengths and analyse him, second round take what you learned in the first and get to work!
Good luck man!

Drive your jabs rather then trying to straight back from their shots, everything Ive seen, from the Vermont ones says guys are trying to throw their jabs while trying to lean straight back from the other guys shot
You pull all the gas off your own shot, and leaning straight back is not exactly being Mr Evasive, slip and drive instead
I'm no expert, but I can tell you what my trainer tells me. He is a big believer in the right-cross counter over the jabs because so many other amatuer trainers train their fighters to throw tons of jabs. His son who he trains has a pretty good amatuer record, so I suppose he knows something. If you can slip well enough to the right and keep on balance, you may see some nice counter opportunties off a lazy/sloppy jab or double jab, with right over the top, especially in the novice where everyone is still polish their skills. If you can touch him hard the right hand counter early, it might take him out of his game plan and make him hesitate. Watch for him telegraphing the 1-2, slip/roll inside left and double hook - low then high. These things probably don't work on more advanced fighters who expect these counters, but in a novice fight where people throw a billion jabs and 1-2's you can be a step ahead if you've learned to slip and counter well, even just a few basic moves.
If you're not good at slipping...uhhh....throw jabs, do what Donny says.
Hey, you may be sickened to hear I thought of you before I fell asleep last night....
Ha Ha nothing out of order I swear, but it just struck me that you posted that yesterday....Man, I know the feeling of nerves and you just try to find support anywhere, but in your situation, your trainer should be able to provide all the answers you need....Can't you go to him?
