Latest Alien vs Predator Film

Just watched this tonight and feel compelled to warn people not to go to the cinema to watch it.

My hopes were low to begin with as both franchises have brought out progressively worse and worse sequels but this didn't even meet my minimal expectation which was that it wouldn't be soo bad that I would have to make a post about it.

Unfortunately it is beyond bad, a truly horrible horrible film.

In the original Alien and its sequel, (possibly the greatest sci fi film ever made imo) the aliens were terrifying and truly deadly. In this absolute shitester they are routinely killed by a pizza delivery boy and his brother

The predator, once the magnificant ultimate bad ass in the great Swcharzenegger film is now just a campy parody of its former self and the whole film just totally totally sucked.

I feel sad at having watched it and will now remove it completely from my memory as I have the first Alien versus Predator film, Predator 2 and Aliens 3 and 4.

Please God let them not make another.

Honestly watching this film was like watching Evander Holyfield fighting Sultan Ibragimov.

For the sake of the great Alien's legacy 20th Century Fox should revoke its license and retire it immediately.

I never forgave them for the first cross over movie. Totally ruined 2 potentially great back stories.

also another dead give away that this movie was gonna blow balls big time was the fact that they couldnt even name the movie properly so they just called it Aliens vs Predator R. WTF was the R for? Ridiculous? ahahaha

I think it was Requim, but I guess the realised, to late, that it was a completely gay name and abbreviated it to R...

That writers guild better be coming up with some golden idea's while they are on strike!!

TV is shite at the moment. My favourite shows Prison Break and Heroes have turned to poo.. Entourage is completely MIA, Deadwood was cancelled, they SHOULD just write off crime shows altogether as a 90's/early 00's fad, scrap Survivor season 34, realise we don't give a sh!t about America's top alien lookalike/supermodel

AND MAKE SOMETHING WORTH F'ING WATCHING....

We are intelligent f'n human beings!! but we're being treated like a bunch of slightly evolved monkeys with 2 hour attention spans, remote controls and a plasma tv..

All tv is doing at the moment is stopping me getting bored... I want to be freakin ENTERTAINED!

Glad to help buddy, people need to be warned not to watch this crap. If like me you grew up marvelling at what a complete badass the predator was, wiping out giant marines and only Arnie himself could stand up to him, and then saw the terror the aliens created in wiping hardcore trained badass space marines you'll most likely be like I was and want to start crying when you see a 20 year pizza delivery boy (I wish I joking ) wiping out aliens like he's playing Gears of War.

If I was James Cameron I would be attempting to sue for defamation of character.....it's THAT bad

crappy script + crappy directors= crappy movie-- the first was like a campy made 4 tv movie- and if the the 2nd is much worse then it must be really bad. i can tell the aliens look so fake. what a shame, these movies r being made strictly 4 profit, the owners -fox-i believe ,dont give a fuck about the audience and just wants money. they need a top quality director with a top quality script 2 have a great movie that needs 2b made. if not dont bother us with another piece of garbage to steal our money.

Dead right.

It was a ludicrous idea that ruined the fantastic original films of Predator & Alien.

Those films still stand up today & the laughable AvP films are just ruining their legacies.
