Mosley to return May 31st possibly to face Carlos Quintana?

Just read on Eastside boxing that Shane Mosley is looking to return to the ring on May 31st on HBO possibly against Carlos Quintana.

What do you guys think of this matchup and who do you pick to win?

Also in the same article Barrara is looking to return to the ring and so is Morales.(not facing each other again I might add)

Well They're three older guys whom I have very mixed feelings about.

I greatly anticipate Mosely's return, I always loved him and he's got a lot left.

Barrera and Morales should be gone already, two greats hanging around way too long.

This will be a good and interesting fight, but in a topics before that i made abuot Quintana vs Williams i mentioned some of strategie that Quintana will win P.Williams and he did it , but now this one i have to say that it would be a difficult fight for Quintana. First, Quintana is slow for Mosley , he need to correct his defense is very poor, he fight too wide open and that is a damn advantage for Mosley by his speed. After all , im not sure how good Mosley fight with southpaw, but dont think that going be hard for Mosley. For me i think Quintana trying to prove himself that he can fight everybody , but he have to be carefull of that , he will mistake. I think he going too fast where he first will fight Judah,Collazo ,then mosley and others. Im going Mosley by UD and if he dont correct his defense , maybe by KO.

Totaly agree Donny, Mosley definetly still has something to give as he proved in his last fight with Cotto but I think Barrera and Morales have had there day and need to know when to quit, they have both achieved so much in boxing and are both regarding as legends imop and its sad to see them lose to fighters which they would have beat in there prime.

Morales and Barrera were so good, to see them hurt and beaten would really be saddening. I'm afraid that Barrera will take some young Lion like Guzman now and Morales will take Juan

But Shane proved there's plenty still in the tank and if it were another fighter he was in the ring with that night not only would the outcome have been different, we probably would be heralding the return of Sugar Shane.

Collazo is a pretty good southpaw and Shane handled him pretty well. It's a risky fight for Quintana. He's a guy who has made his two biggest wins by out thinking guys with limited experience and significant weaknesses in boxing skill that he could exploit. Both against Julio and Williams, he came in with a plan and fought his fight perfectly. Neither Julio or Williams had the experience to adapt. The same will not be true when he steps in with Mosley. I think he'll make a good fight of it, but Shane will strafe him with short straight rights in between his more looping punches. I like the matchup, but I was hoping Quintana would take an easier fight before stepping in with a guy on Mosely's level.

All been said already Shane still looks fresh and hungry and seems to have a lot left, but MAB and el terrible ( 1 a my fave all time) look shadows of their formerselves and i hope for there sake and ours that they stay retired and dont risk being hurt and harming there great legacies.
