Default Great interview with Lennox Lewis

Lewis was my favouite fighter for ages. In this interview he talks about his relationship with Tyson including their early sparring under D'Amato, the rumours about his financial troubles, talk of a comeback, future career goals and more. I found it a good read so I hope you guys and gals do to. Cheers.

Hee hee, i'd probably watch it too. How's he doing in it? Said in the interview he was selling hot dogs. I bet if you bought a hot dog from him you definately wouldnt complain about it.

Good Read...Have some rep for the post....Lewis is a class act and always composes himself like a champion...

Lennox is in my top 5 personal all time favorites and one of the greatest heavyweights to ever wear the crown...IMO Lewis is in the top 5 others differ on his position but fact is he was no less then 7 or 8 at the most....

The article hit it on the head when they said he was the last great heavyweight...I used to even have that next to my avatar

Not only was Lewis one of the best Heavyweight champs, he was also probably near the very top in being the smartest.

Sure he made a couple of mistakes, but he corrected them. He fought to win. When people would start to question his ability, he would rise to the occasion and answer his critics. He also made his legacy and got out of Boxing before the game pushed him out.

He will be looked upon kindly by the historians in the future ( I say give it another 10 years). Once he becomes considered a fighter from the past, I think they will place him in a nice top 10 spot. He is still too current to be considered among the best in a historians point of view right now, as they really like to dig into the past and generally frown upon the skill level of any current fighter.

Lennox "the lion king" Lewis, the best heavyweight who never has to tell anybody cause his that damn good

only dissapointment is that he retire early without rematching vitaly. that was a damn good scrap by two big power punching heavyweights.

Thanks for the rep. There needs to be someone in the hw division whos prepared to stand up like lewis did to get the current hw's to lift their games. Not trying to be like lewis but doing their own thing but raising the bar so the other guys and new guys start to improve.

What a good read that was...
Class act guy and as time passes I'm more and more a fan.
I had the opp. to shake his hand this weekend and as he signed my glove I said to him "Undisputed Heavyweight Champ" he laughed...

I've caught the Apprentice once but I can't stand Trump so I wont watch it... He's funny as a leader it's like he can't make any executive decisions he needed to have a voting system in place and you also had to raise your hand before speaking...
