TV Azteca is doing a Mexican The Contender? WTF!?

I am sitting here and was channel surfing when I found some boxing on TV, kool, I said some little Mexicans are getting down. The commentary is in Spanish and it sounds more like something you hear on Lucha Libre but not that bad. Suddenly they cut to the audience and do a slow mo' of some one yelling and they add echo. I am like WTF!? Suddenly they get back to the action and they show some exchanges and suddenly the footage slows down and they show the shots being landed in slow motion but very chessy about as bad as the videos I make The punches have some of the worst sound effects sounds like some one is hitting a garbage can or some one is being body slammed like in the WWE.

I see Arce.

Just to let you know though, the series will not be finished, the California Boxing Commision shut production down, because none of the fights were sanctioned by the state.

Apparently one of the fighters left the show once he found out that the fights weren't sanctioned, and he let the commission know about it.

The show told the commision that the fights were going to take place in Nevada, and that they were only going to shoot some background stories in California, to which the commission didn't look into it further.

But once they found out, they went to the shows location, and shut them down.

The news about it came out last week, not sure exactly when it was shut down though.
