Cant believe the WBC heavyweight title fight has gone under the radar . What shot finished it ?

What was the Mcline result? Its good that Peters the champ cuz hes more active than Oleg was .

It happen pretty much like I thought it would, and it's long overdue. I like Maskaev, but he ducked Peter for too long. I hope he retires and does well in his business ventures. Peter looked pretty good, I thought. Much better than he did against McCline, obviously. Even though he is much improved, I still favor Wlad over him, but he has a punchers chance.

The overhand right set up the barrage it ended on multiple over hand rights from Peter.

Both of them seem to prefer the Barrelweight Division over heavyweight.

I don't know what is is with the heavies these days. They are getting bulkier and bulkier, almost rendering them immobile (With a couple of exceptions).

Here is hoping David Haye does not go by their line of thinking. He could come in at 215, keep his speed and have fun plastering huge targets.

Staying up late for fights is all well and good....til the heavies come on.

I had watched; two hours of German fights 10-12pm some MMA12-1am
Mitchell vs. Johannson 1-2am Haye vs. Macc 2-2.30am Diaz vs. Campbell 1.30-2.30am and was fresh as a daisy.

Three rounds into the heavies and I was down looking up blurrily as an imaginary referee counted me out. Yes there was a knockout scored. It was a KO3 with Donny being clean out until 11 the next morning.

I could not believe how slow and sloppy Maskaev and Peter looked...Peter's footwork is TERRIBLE he just waddles around and while his head movement has improved tremendously he is so flat footed I find it hard to believe he could ever catch a mobile boxer...Maskaev appears almost shot and the fact that Peter could not take him out sooner is troublesome, Wlad would have taken Oleg out in round 1....Finally, to comment to an earlier post YES Johnny Ruiz is back in the mix, unfortunately....

If Vitali comes back as the same Vitali that retired...he will demolish Peter!
