Ok so I know there is a thread on this in that crappy Off Topic forum but I want more than one reply.
I've been watching this show since the beginning and reading the Lost post we currently have has left me with a ton of questions about how you fellow viewers percieve it.
So here's my questions, any Lost fans who want to answer please do!
1) I see a lot of you are guessing who gets off the Island and who the 6 are. Am I correct in assuming then that most of you take at face value that those forward flashes are genuine and that those 6 at least, do indeed get off the Island? Do you not think they are just complete red herrings and none of that is actually going to happen at all?
2) Following on from that what do you think about these future revelations. I personally don't like them. If they are true glimpses of what will happen why ruin those plotlines for us? Why tell us what is going to happen?
If they arn't actually going to happen then why waste so much episode time on them?
3) Do you all believe there really was an Oceanic Flight 815? I mean the last few episodes are all about memory and suggest that they may not be accurate, people going back and forth in time, islanders appearing off the island etc. Maybe the crash never happened and the survivors have just been programmed to think thats how they got to the island?
4) Is the island really real? I mean is it actually a spaceship or just a virtual world or something?
5)Who is Jacob? Is he the voice of the island, the reason behind the islands power?
6)Is the reason Hurley is so fat because Jacob or some other alien actually lives inside him and at some point he will open up and a little alien man will be revealed?
7) Do you believe all these characters backstories? Are they just memory imprints or biased reconstructions?
Do you think Michael and his son really did get off the island or did they not get off the island really at all?
9) Following on from that, if Walt is now living in Manhatton with his grandma how did he communicate via computer? I mean yeah he could have internet access in Manhatton but certainly there is no way of him being able to reach Locke or anyone else via email?
10) Are Charlie, Ann Lucia, that big black reverend dude and Boon and his siter really dead or will they come back to life by the end? Basically what I'm asking here is why does the Island save all these people and prevent people like Locke, Michael and that woman with cancer from dying until they fufilled their purposes but yet allow others to die?
What was their purpose on the island?
11) Finally, what was the point of that weird episode last series where a couple were buried alive after being bitten by paralysing spiders? They only featured in that single episode? What did it mean? Will they come back?
Ok that's my main questions for now, if anyone has any answers they have more of a clue than I do.![]()
