A Pub in London Called "Church" ??

I have a question for the Brits. One of my buddies is in the US Air Force and is stationed over there in England. I happen to talk to him the other day and he was telling me about this really cool pub/bar or something thats called "Church" I think thats the name, I guess its in London and only open on Sunday afternoons for a couple hours or something but he told me its really bad ass? I was wondering if any of you guys have heard of it and maybe even been there and if so can you tell me more about this place I interested to know more sounds like a cool place from what my friend told me.

The only place i know of would be the one in Brixton,South london.

My friend never said exactly where it was in London, but thats probably the one. he said they have like a stage where people will go up and perform and some girls get up there and stirp and shit, sounded like a pretty cool place.
